I started hand making natural hand soaps, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, hand sanitizer, body wash, lotions, and lip balms almost a year ago because I want the best for my family. Commercial products have a lot of chemicals in them that I can't pronounce. Most of those chemicals are toxic not only to the environment but to you too. The majority of my products are made with 100% natural ingredients with the exception of items that are scented with cosmetic grade fragrances. However, there is such a small percentage of this scent (less than 1%) that this allows me to still classify my items as natural.
